If her Instagram is any indication, she’s living a relatively normal life and studying psychology at Michigan State University.
She’s got herself a boyfriend, a dog called Lottie and graduated from high school with a 3.9 GPA.
“Couldn’t have asked for a better 21st birthday celebration (or a better guy to have by my side),” she said.
As her famous dad continues to largely shun the spotlight, only making sporadic public appearances, Hailie is studying at Michigan State University these days after graduating from high school with honors.
Before graduating high school in the Detroit area, she paid tribute to her dad and her mom, Kim Mathers, who has also been the topic of the rapper’s songs, telling a school newsletter that they are the “most influential” people to her.
“My mother and father are because they have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have,” she reportedly said at the time.
When graduating from high school, where she was crowned homecoming queen, she reportedly said her parents were the “most influential during my lifetime’, because “my mother and father… have given me all the support to achieve what I have”.
Despite the fact that her parents are no longer together, Eminem still credits his daughter for helping him through the toughest times.
“Hailie has been my main source of drive, a motivation, especially when she was first born and I didn’t have a career, I didn’t have money, I didn’t have place to live, so I think that really kicked me in the arse harder than anything,” he has said.
“My daughter comes first no matter what,” he added. “If there’s important things going on in her life that I need to be there for, then I’ll drop what I’m doing.”
Given her studies, it’s clear she’s not going to follow in her fathers footsteps towards the spotlight. But props to Eminem, who seems to have raised a daughter completely unaffected by the fame and fortune that comes with his job, which is no easy feat.
